With all the spiritual, emotional, social, and political stresses we experience from day to day, it's always nice to receive a kind word whether it be in a person-to-person interaction, a recorded phone message, or even a greeting card.

Watching the live feed on Facebook often shows somebody making a statement about boredom; "I'm bored.", "I'm so bored right now.", "I don't have anything to do".  They say this like they are making a plea to the world to solve their problem; like somebody else has the responsibility of doing something about it:  "I'm bored right now so everybody stop what's keeping them from being bored and cater to my need of eliminating this state of mind that results in no productivity whatsoever.  It's your job to entertain me, so come on and do something right now that eliminates this condition."

First of all, boredom is nothing more that a personal attitude problem.  It's not up to anybody else to do anything for you to take care of it.  Besides, they wouldn't be able to take care of it anyway now would they.  If they were to suggest something, you'd just shrug it off as something you don't want to do.
