Since when has the perfect life ever been a true reality? Let’s face it, a perfect life isn’t really possible. But, there are some things you can do to help you live a better life.  A better life won’t always be stress free, debt free, or friend filled.  Life is always full of challenges.  However, if you perceive challenges as opportunities to grow then you’re already on the road of a better lifestyle.

He put others first.  His story is full of passion for dirty people.  He offered and still offers people the tools necessary to pull themselves out of gutter living into a better lifestyle. But people are stubborn.  Many would rather wallow in the mud pits that accept the gifts that pull them out.  What He offers isn’t even complicated at all.  There’s just all kinds of deceptive notions out there that distract people from the simplicity of His Grace.

Christ was never arrogant about his passion for hurting people.  But, he did address the arrogance of the religous establishment of His time.  He doesn’t want us to be arrogant in our well-doing. When we act, He wants us to act with love.  But understand this…love doesn’t always indicate a softness or weakness in character.  More often than not, love requires courage; true love requires one to be tough.  Jesus expressed some tough love one time.  He was appalled at the way the temple was being treated. The people were showing great disrespect for the House of God, so He turned over tables and ran people out of the temple.  Sometimes living a better life requires we follow the same principle.  We have to live in His Grace with boldness.  We must learn to be tough and unwavering in our living.

The better lifestyle is one of living in the Grace of God.  No it’s not perfect, yet.
